About Me
I am an award-winning freelance journalist and copywriter who has been covering real estate, housing, personal finance and hospitality for more than two decades.
I have been recognized by the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) for my coverage of commercial real estate for The Wall Street Journal and have also been the recipient of the Eli Adams Award for Housing Industry Journalism by the Florida Home Builders Association as well as numerous writing awards by the National Federation of Press Women.
I am a columnist for The Wall Street Journal and a regular contributor to the Boston Globe, City & Shore magazine and Multi-Housing News. I also do copywriting, handling everything from newsletters to website copy, brochures, corporate training manuals, press kits, bylined articles, press releases and more, as well as social media strategy, set up and ghostwriting.
Prior to embarking on a full-time career as a journalist, I practiced real estate law, representing builders, developers, community associations and buyers and sellers of homes. I've closed thousands of real estate transactions, both residential and commercial.
