RIVA Penthouse Sells for $3.75 Million

A two-story corner penthouse at RIVA, a 100-unit condominium under construction at 1180 N. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale, has sold for $3.75 million.

The unit has 4,479 square feet of living space under air and features three bedrooms, three and one-half baths, a private elevator and a private rooftop spa with summer kitchen. It also has nearly 2,600 square feet of terrace space, as well as a 35-foot boat slip.

Grant Lundberg, director of sales for the 15-story project, said the purchaser is a business executive based in the Montreal area.

According to a recent market report by brokerage Douglas Elliman, luxury condominiums continue to perform well in Fort Lauderdale. In the second quarter of 2017, the median sales price for a luxury condominium in Fort Lauderdale increased 17.3 percent when compared to the same period a year before, to $1,167,500.
