New Luxury-Home Community Announced for Delray Beach
(9/25/24) South Florida home buyers in search of new construction will soon have a new community to consider. Fort Washington, Pa.-based Toll Brothers recently announced that sales will commence in the spring of 2025 for Layton Pointe, a single-family home development at 3894 Sherwood Blvd. in Delray Beach.
The project will include one- and two-story home designs ranging from 2,632 to 4,187 square feet, with three to six bedrooms. According to the community website, prices start in the $1,400,000s.
The announcement comes on the heels of the company’s July announcement of Meravita at Boca Raton, a gated community near U.S. 441 and Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton. Meravita will feature homes ranging from 3,291 to 5,406 square feet, with four to five bedrooms. Prices currently start in the $2,300,000s, according to the community website.
According to brokerage Douglas Elliman, the median sales price of a luxury single-family home in Delray Beach reached a new high in the second quarter of 2024, hitting $3,812,500, an increase of 8.9 percent year over year.
In Boca Raton, the median sales price of a luxury single-family home jumped by 21.2 percent year over year in the second quarter of 2024, to the second-highest price on record, at $5.06 million.
