Plans for Reimagined Bahia Mar Unveiled
(11/5/24) Related Group, Tate Capital and Rok Acquisitions, in collaboration with Marriott International, have unveiled plans for The St. Regis Resort and Residences, Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale.
The project is the first phase of a $2 billion development that will transform the iconic 40-acre Bahia Mar resort into a world-class yachter’s paradise and lifestyle destination.
The first phase of the redevelopment project will include two 23-story residential towers and a 197-key luxury hotel under the St. Regis brand, along with a private beach club, fine dining venues and upscale retail. The architectural design is led by Miami-based Arquitectonica, with interiors by London-based Tara Bernerd & Partners.
Sales for The St. Regis Residences have launched, with pricing of the 160 condominiums, which include three- and four-bedroom floor plans ranging from 2,600 to 3,550 square feet, starting at $4.4 million.
There are also resort residences within the hotel, with one to three bedrooms and penthouses. Prices start at $2 million.
The master plan for the redevelopment project includes 88,000 square feet of waterfront commercial space, with restaurants, a public park along the Intracoastal Waterway and a 25-foot-wide pedestrian promenade. There will also be a marina with slips for megayachts up to 350 feet.
Amenities at the branded residences include a spa, salon, indoor-outdoor fitness center, a children’s entertainment room, a library/media room, a private dining room and a billiards room. Unit owners will also have access to the resort’s amenities, including two swimming pools, a fitness center, an upscale spa and a signature restaurant.
Completion of the first phase is expected in late 2029.
